Caring For Your Hair Envy Couture Extensions

Our Luxury European Hair is 100% human hair and, like your natural hair, requires proper care to maintain its softness, shine, and longevity.

Before Washing

• Gently brush your hair from the ends upwards using an extension-safe brush.
• Always support the weft or bonds while brushing.
• Never brush wet hair aggressively.

Washing Your Hair

• Wash 1-2 times per week using a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner.
• Always wash in a downward motion.
• Avoid scrubbing, twisting, or bunching the hair together.
• Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Conditioning

• Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to ends.
• Leave for 3-5 minutes before rinsing.
• Avoid applying conditioner directly to attachment points.

Drying

• Gently squeeze excess water from the hair.
• Pat dry with a towel – do not rub.
• Blow-dry the root area and attachment points immediately after washing.
• Never go to bed with wet hair.

Heat Styling

• Always use a heat protector.
• Keep heat below 180°C where possible.
• Avoid excessive daily heat styling.

Sleeping

• Tie hair into a loose braid or ponytail before bed.
• Use a silk or satin pillowcase for added protection.
• Never sleep with wet hair.

Swimming & Holidays

• Tie hair up before swimming.
• Wear a swimming cap where possible.
• Rinse immediately after exposure to chlorine or salt water.
• Apply a leave-in conditioner before sun exposure.

Products To Avoid

• Purple shampoos and colour-depositing products.
• Silver shampoos.
• Harsh clarifying shampoos.
• Alcohol-heavy styling products.
• Products containing sulphates or parabens.

Please note: Purple shampoos, toners, and colour-depositing products may alter the colour of blonde hair extensions and can cause staining, discolouration, dryness, or affect warranty eligibility.

Daily Maintenance

• Brush 2-3 times daily.
• Use a lightweight serum or oil on mid-lengths and ends.
• Schedule regular maintenance appointments with your extension professional.
